What is Sculpture?

Sculpture is art that is 3 Dimensional.  Sculptures can be made with a variety of materials and processes, and can involve adding material (additive sculpture) or taking it away (subtractive sculpture) to create form.  In Art class, sculptures should be able to pass the Mrs. Myers test - if pieces of your sculpture fall off when I touch or shake your artwork, that is grounds for re-designing things a bit!
